Located in the heart of Costa Mesa, Playa Mesa Mexican Kitchen offers versatile private event and semi-private event options. Our event spaces combine Southern California’s relaxed yet upscale atmosphere with exceptional hospitality and carefully crafted cuisine creating an experience your guests will never forget.
El Patio Playa features a stunning setting and inviting ambience complete with a full overhead covering and built-in fire pits for your event guests to enjoy year-round. This space can accommodate up to 30 guests casually with options for up to 70 people seated within a partially shared indoor space. Our semi-private event offering in La Ventana is the perfect setting for your next birthday, wedding celebration or graduation event. With seating configurations for up to 35 people, this aesthetic space is great for any social or professional event functions.

Menu

For events that have 25 or more guests, we require self-serve buffet services. We have a variety of menus available to customize your offerings. You can choose our “All-You-Can-Eat” pricing structure to take out the guess work or go with a “Fixed Quantity Pricing” option that is great for assuring you have just enough to eat along with a larger bar budget. For smaller group bookings, we can offer our regular menu or we would happily help you create the perfect pre-fixed menu for your occasion!

Megan Tinio
Director of Event Sales
Megan is an event + hospitality veteran with almost 20 years of professional experience. She has done it all from serving tables, training and opening new restaurant locations, to weddings of all sizes at hundreds of venues as well as large-scale public events with over 300,000 attendees. Her knowledge and experience spans San Diego, Orange, and LA counties.
At Lounge Group Events, Megan ensures every client enjoys a seamless, thoughtful, and masterful event experience from booking to the day-of execution. We couldn’t be happier to have her talents guiding our guests’ most important celebrations.
Leanna Forcucci
Director of Event Sales
With over 20 years of experience producing and directing large-scale events, Leanna has truly done it all! She began her career as the owner and director of one of North OC’s largest dance studios, and in 2019 opened and operated the Classic Fullerton Ballroom event space. In 2022, she brought her passion for not only entertaining and serving the masses but her commitment to quality staff development and event offerings to the Lounge Group Event locations.
We’re so lucky to have her expertise, creativity, and especially her authenticity in her event client relationships as she values all aspects of supporting her clients from initial inquiry to event execution for small intimate dinners to large scale wedding receptions.
